H E L P W A N T E D POSITION AVAILABLE - CITY OF WASHINGTON WASTEWATER/STORMWATER DEPARTMENT Heavy Equipment Operator/Sewer Maintenance Worker Days/Hours: > Monday-Friday (5 Days) > 7 am - 3:30 pm Pay Rate: $24.80/hr. w/excellent benefit pkg. Job Description (WILL TRAIN): * Position is under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent. * Must possess a Class B CDL. * Operate heavy equipment to perform work to install, repair and maintain sewer lines, manhole structures, storm drains and catch basins. * Operate various hand tools, concrete saw and various powered tools and vacuum systems. * Operate and maintain a variety of equipment utilized in maintenance and repair of city wastewater lines and related systems, including dump trucks, backhoes, jet trucks, rod machines and related equipment. * Work is primarily performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. * Depending on the task performed the noise intensity ranges moderate to extreme. * Employees are to be constantly aware of safety requirements.
